Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Reducibl ("Reducibl", "we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Campsite Cancellations (the "Service"). We collect only what we need to send you the alerts you asked for.

1. What we collect

From you, directly

• Your email address and the campground and nights you want watched. This is the whole of a subscription.
• A phone or push registration, only if you enable phone alerts; you can turn it off at any time.
• Billing details, if you buy a Priority Pass. Stripe processes and stores your payment method; we see your billing email, the last four digits of the card, and the purchase — never the full card number.

Automatically

• Server logs: standard request metadata (timestamps, IP address, HTTP status, latency), kept up to 30 days for debugging and security.
• Email delivery events: whether an alert was delivered, opened, or clicked, so we can tell when alerts stop reaching you.
• Site analytics: anonymized page views via Plausible (self-hosted, cookieless) and PostHog. No personally identifying information is sent to either.

2. What we don't do

• We do not sell your data or share it for anyone's advertising.
• We do not book, hold, or act on any reservation for you.
• We do not send marketing email. Every email we send is about a watch you set up or a purchase you made.

3. How we use what we collect

• To check the campground you chose and alert you when it opens for your dates.
• To tell you when a watch has ended and how it went.
• To process a Priority Pass purchase and apply it to your watches.
• To keep the Service working, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

4. Sub-processors

We use these third-party services to operate the Service. Each is bound by its own terms; we list them here for transparency.

5. Data retention

• Subscriptions and watch history: kept while the watch is active and for the recap when it ends; deleted on request.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Billing records: 7 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.

To delete everything tied to your email address, write to legal@reducibl.com.

6. Security

TLS in transit, encryption at rest, per-subscriber data isolation, and secret scanning in our codebase. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware, and tell you what happened and what we are doing.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete the data we hold about you, and object to or withdraw consent for any use of it, by emailing legal@reducibl.com. We respond within 30 days. Stopping a watch needs no request at all — every alert has a one-click link.

EEA users (GDPR): our lawful bases are performance of the service you asked for and our legitimate interest in operating and securing it. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California users (CCPA): we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

8. Cookies

We set no marketing or cross-site cookies. Plausible is cookieless. PostHog uses a pseudonymous identifier stored in your browser to count page views and funnels; block it at the network level or email us to opt out.

9. International transfers

The Service is hosted on Google Cloud in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is processed in the United States under Google Cloud's Data Processing Addendum and standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe we hold a minor's data, email legal@reducibl.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes

The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. For material changes we will email active subscribers.
