Timed-entry alerts
Vehicle reservations sell out at release. Get alerted the moment one comes back.
Arches, Rocky Mountain, Acadia's Cadillac Summit Road, Haleakalā sunrise — all claimed within minutes of release. But cancelled slots flow back to recreation.gov all season, and Calafia emails you the moment one reappears.

The honest list
Reservations we deliberately don't cover
Some well-known corridors have no active recreation.gov timed-entry program right now, or aren't a timed-entry reservation at all — so a watch would be selling false hope:
- Glacier — Going-to-the-Sun Road / North Fork — Glacier has a real recreation.gov timed-entry facility, but vehicle reservations aren't required for the current season — nothing to watch until NPS reinstates the requirement.
- Mount Rainier — Paradise / Sunrise Corridors — Mount Rainier's timed-entry pilot has a real recreation.gov facility, but the program is not running for the current season.
- Yosemite peak-hours reservation — Yosemite's 2022 peak-hours reservation pilot was discontinued and has no active recreation.gov timed-entry facility to watch.
- Zion — Angels Landing — Angels Landing is a lottery-run permit, not a timed-entry reservation — out of scope for this watch mechanic (a lottery has no reopening slot to detect).
- Muir Woods parking — Muir Woods parking books through a third-party concessioner (gomuirwoods.com), not recreation.gov — we don't watch it.
